Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. She was able to survive with the stipend she received from her students while working part time jobs. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative route she could take. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The group broke up prior to their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talent program New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. After that, Lennox started working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva that was released in the year 1992. It was an enormous achievement, both in terms of the sales as well as the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is consisting of four tracks improvised. The E.P. Her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox began her solo career by releasing their debut record Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. The album features covers of some songs, including No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio and compilation albums.
