Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, actress and model who was named Miss USA in 1996, is an American actor. The name of her mother was inspired by model Ali MacGraw after she watched the film she directed in 1970, 'Love Story'. She is from French (Cajun) descendance and was born in Cecilia, Louisiana, where she was a student at Cecilia High School. She was the captain of the cheerleading squad during her high school years and was named 'Miss Louisiana Teen America' when she was of 17. After that, in 1996, she won the title of Miss Louisiana USA. It was her first big break when she was crowned Miss USA. She made her acting debut in 1997 with the tv drama 'Clueless'. She gained a lot of attention after she was dubbed "the Doritos Girl" by playing in the 'Doritos' commercial telecast during the 1998 Super Bowl. She made her debut as actor in the film Beautiful. The following few years she starred in a range of television and films. She has also been included in numerous'most wanted women' lists.
